Bluegrass Soccer Club and Woodford Youth Soccer Association is pleased to bring you the 8th Annual Bluegrass Cup. Located in the beautiful horse country of central Kentucky, the tournament will be held at the Woodford Youth Soccer Complex in Versailles, KY located 15 minutes west of Lexington. All Under-9 through Under-14 teams, both boys and girls that meet the eligibility rules, are invited to apply. The event also includes a “Club Challenge” and a club discount program.

Sponsor History:

The Bluegrass Soccer Club is a division of Woodford YSA. Woodford YSA provides soccer for over 800 youths on more than 75 teams. The Kick in the Bluegrass soccer tournament has been hosted each spring for the past thirteen years by Woodford YSA and Bluegrass SC. This will be the eighth year hosting the Bluegrass Cup. Last year the event hosted teams from five states.

Sanction and Affiliation:

The Bluegrass Cup has been sanctioned by the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association, an affiliate of the United States Youth Soccer Association. Teams from outside the state of Kentucky must meet state travel rules.

Tournament Location:

The event will be held at the Woodford Youth Soccer Complex located at 199 Kuhlman Drive in Versailles, KY 40383. The complex is located off Hwy 60 approximately 15 minutes from Lexington, KY.

Club Challenge:

For clubs and associations bringing five or more teams, there will be a club challenge in effect for all “pool” games. Three points will be awarded for a win and one point will be awarded for a tie. The club or association with the most points will be awarded THE BLUEGRASS CUP.

Team Registration:

Registration and check-in will be held on site at the Woodford Youth Soccer Complex in Versailles, KY from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on the Friday night prior to the start of the tournament.
